Isaiah's image of the suffering servant is one of the high points in Old Testament revelation. In the New Testament, it is understood in terms of the life and atonement of Jesus, while Jewish thinkers see it as symbolic of the nation of Israel itself. First-rate commentary by Michael Rydelnik, Walter Kaiser, Michael Brown, and Darrell Bock. 2.5 hours.

Customer Reviews for Mysterious Prophecy of Isaiah 53
Not overly dynamic, but outstanding explanations of Jesus' satisfaction of the Jewish faith. The format is 4 Jewish Christian teachers discussing why the Jews "choose" to overlook Jesus and how they saw Jesus in the Jewish scriptures. This really helped me develop my articulation of the faith; the "reasonability" of it. This is definitely NOT casual fluff or milk-n-cookies; this video is meat-n-potatoes learning. Liked it a lot and have viewed it multiple times.
