Inside of Hong Kong was the infamous Walled City. Strangers were not welcome there. Police hesitated to enter. It was a haven of filth, crime and sin. Prostitution, pornography and drug addiction flourished. Jackie Pullinger had grown up believing that if she put her trust in God, He would lead her. When she was 20 years old, God called her to the Walled City. She obeyed. And as she spoke of Jesus Christ, brutal hoods were converted, prostitutes retired from their trade and heroin junkies found new power that freed them from the bondage of drug addiction. Chasing the Dragon tells the whole amazing story exactly as it happened.

A detailed and inspiring story of an amazing woman armed with her trust in God to minister to the addicted, prostitutes, and the low life's in the Chinese society of the infamous Walled City of Hong Kong. The conversion of these people as it happened as well. An Inspiring account that also blesses the reader.
Christians like Jackie Pullinger remind us that with God nothing is impossible. This book is a treasure, her story inspiring and yes, it is hard to read about the type of depravity that existed in the Walled City, but Jesus died for the drug addict and the prostitute too. Her story is valuable because drug addiction is still rampant in the walled city of our neighborhoods and we are the ones to give the message that set the captives free.
