When our first child was born 23 years ago my husband and I received this book for a gift. At that time I never knew the impact it would have on my children's lives. Every night at reading time this was the kids "go to" book. They loved the interaction and I loved being able to share great values with them as gentle reminders of God's love. Big Thoughts for Little People is a beautifully illustrated devotional for young children. Every page is designed to capture the child's attention while at the same time the words printed for the parent to read are designed to teach them a Biblical lesson. I had a previously printed version when I was younger and now my children enjoy Big Thoughts for Little People too.

I use this book for story time, in my Sunday School class. It's excellent it helps me to teach them. How God wants them to treat, their family and friends also how God wants them to act.

This book was one we read over and over again while my kids were growing up - they loved finding the ladybugs on each page and the short message was just enough for bedtime reading. I still have the original book. When I went to re-order for a friend's children I was very happy with the updated pictures, with the same text and ladybug-finding feature. It's excellent. So I ordered another copy for my grandkids. Parents, teach your kids the Word of God. This book is one way to do that. Read and read often!! Then save it to pass down to the next generation.

Ever since we used Kenneth Taylor's "Big Thoughts for Little People..." with our three children (20-30 years ago), we have been giving copies as baby shower gifts.
