Tyndale House The Indwelling, Left Behind Series #7 (rpkgd)

The members of the Tribulation Force face their most dangerous challenges. All over the news, reporters announce that Rayford Steele is Nicolae Carpathia's assassin, but Buck soon learns the truth. The world mourns the loss of a world leader until events at Nicolae's funeral bring all mourning to an end. A repackage of the seventh book in the New York Times best-selling Left Behind series.

This book really opens the mind to wonder what really lies ahead after death. It prepares the unbeliever and the lukewarm christian for what lies ahead for them. It causes you to examain your life, every detail of it to be sure that you are ready to meat Christ when you die.

The Indwelling is just as good as the first 6 Left Behind books and is incredibly more creepy. Once the antichrist rises from the dead, he is Satan himself. He's much more evil than Nicolae Carpathia alone ever was. I was incredibly surprised to discover who had killed the antichrist in the last book and you'll discover that pretty shortly into this one. The Indwelling is very gripping and I doubt you'll be able to put it down. It's one in a series that kept me up reading until late hours of the night so I could finish it and move on to the next book. Don't pass this up--or any in the series, for that matter!

This seventh book in the best-selling Left Behind starts out with the world in havoc, stunned by the death of their leader Nicolae Carpathia. As the media plays the assassination over and over, Trib Force member Rayford Steele gets stuck in Israel and tries all avenues to get out. The Trib Force then is accused of killing Carpathia, and must guilefully live on the run, especially hard to do with a small baby to care for. Some of the Trib members are then executed, to the delight of the New Babylon’s leaders. Leaders stage the seating of Carpathia’s funeral, and then all peoples are over- whelmed when Carpathia himself comes back to life, as a force stronger than a demigod demands worship and attention.
This was a book I reviewed for Tyndale House Publishers.

The Indwelling is the seventh in Left Behind series. As the world comes to grips with the assignation of Nicolae Carpathia, the Tribulation Force knows the man's evil isn't over yet. As the band of Christians grows, so does the danger around them. No one is safe.
The Indwelling is like most of the other Left Behind books. True, the story is exciting, though the writing can be a little sloppy in places, and sometimes things can become a little confusing with so many characters. If you enjoy apocalyptic thrillers, however, this is one you won't want to skip.

"The Indwelling" is the seventh in the series of fiction books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins chronicling the events that take place in the world during the end times. The books follow several main characters as they fight for their lives and for their faith as the world makes its way to the last days.
In this book, the Global Community police force is after the Tribulation Force. Rayford is accused of assassinating Nicolae Carpathia, but Buck finds out the truth.
As the world mourns Nicolae, millions flock to his funeral and to pay homage to a huge statue erected in his honor. But the statue is not the only surprise Nicolae has in store for the people of the world.
I enjoyed this series of books, and I felt this book especially recognized the spiritual battle that takes place during the end times. The passages that referred to Nicolae and ‘The Indwelling’ were frightening in their depictions. This books also sets up the next books very well, as the Great Tribulation begins.
This series of novels is a fictionalized account of the events of the end times. I enjoyed the whole series. While this book is geared towards Christians, there is enough action and depth to it that should appeal to all. The characters are well done, and it is easy to follow the many plots that are going on within these books.

The Indwelling was one of the most intense books yet. The indwelling of Satan within the Antichrist was frightening just reading about it. I cannot begin to imagine what it would be like to actually witness it personally. I am starting to fear more and more for the members of the Tribulation Force and am anxious to see how they will survive the second half of the Tribulation. Situations will only get worse for them with the indwelling of the Antichrist initiating the Great Tribulation, but hopefully they will stay strong in their faith and find a way to endure.

The seven years of Tribulation are half over. The Antichrist has been killed and one of the Tribulation Force members is the prime suspect. As the world mourns for its leader, millions make their way to New Babylon for a funeral that never happens. The Tribulation Force is in more danger than ever as the Beast takes full control and the Great Tribulation begins.
What’s great about these books is that, though there are many, the sub-plots never get confusing or overbearing. You get to follow several of the characters from their points of view without ever feeling lost. The characterizations are wonderful. They come to life so easily that you will have no trouble feeling for them, or hating them in some cases. This is probably one of the most important pieces of literature for the Christian world, but the truth is, even without that stamp of importance, it’s great literature! This is a great story with great characters, and everyone should read it.

When I read the book of Revelation in the bible I have a hard time understanding what all the symbolism means. The Left Behind series does an excellent job explaining all of it. Each book focuses on a section of scripture and uses it create a story of believable events. Picturing the Anti-Christ is hard but once you read this book you get a pretty good understanding of what he will be like. I know any christian reading this book will feel challenged to increase in faith and inspired to stay close to God. The Indwelling takes you to the point in the Tribulation where the devil actually takes over the world and peace no longer is used a front to get people to bow to his wishes. An opposition to the devil is immediately terminated. The entire series is a must read.
