Chang Wong is becoming a valuable asset to the work of the Tribulation Force. Rayford and his team assembles believers to take a stand at the Temple Mount where Carpathia followers are set to worship Carpathia's image and take the mark of the beast. Yet more Tribulation members perish as new members are introduced. Chaim and Buck go to battle for the Lord as unbelievers are plagued by festering wounds in an attempt to bring more away from Satan's hold over them. Chloe ventures out and becomes more involved bringing more members to the effort. A search and rescue is underway but will the efforts prove futile? Will it cause more danger to Tribulation Force members?

Another explosive addition to the series! As the ones before it this one also challenges my faith and I was highly entertained. Scene and dialogue work book flows well and the overall message is inspiring. I would highly recommend this series to others especially for the times in which we live.

Nicolae Carpathia is finally showing his true colors, and his facade of peace has vanished. He travels to the temple, fulfilling more Biblical prophecy. The first Bowl Judgements is released and a plague affects all who have taken the mark. While many believers are in hiding or involved in underground work, one new believer stands firm against Carpathia for all the world to see. As te Jewish Remnant makes it way to Petra, plans are made for Tsion Ben-Judah to go there as well.

What's great about these books is that, though there are many, the sub-plots never get confusing or overbearing. You get to follow several of the characters from their points of view without ever feeling lost. The characterizations are wonderful. They come to life so easily that you will have no trouble feeling for them, or hating them in some cases. This is probably one of the most important pieces of literature for the Christian world, but the truth is, even without that stamp of importance, it's great literature! This is a great story with great characters, and everyone should read it.

This ninth book in the best-selling Left Behind comes out with drama rising suspense as Trib Force members wrestle with the idea of taking the mark of the Beast vs. having the seal of God. Carpathia, as the Antichrist, continues to bask in the adoration of Earth's followers, even as he leads them to their certain death. Dr. Rosenweig shoulders the responsibility of leading Trib Force followers, even as some question his leadership. Chaim debates with the Beast, as the Antichrist takes his throne into what was the temple of God in Jerusalem. In complete defiance, the Antichrist attempts to sacrifice a pig in the holy temple, but doesn't get the job done. Even the kids get in on the action of defying Carpathia and of glorifying the One True God. The book closes with the Trib Force core again wrestling, this time with the safety of their own people, and of where safe houses are located.

This was a book I reviewed for Tyndale House Publishers.

"Desecration" is the ninth in the series of fiction books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins chronicling the events that take place in the world during the end times. The books follow several main characters as they fight for their lives and for their faith as the world makes its way to the last days.

In this book, Nicolae commits the ultimate desecration, angering Christians and Jews alike. As Nicolae's true colors are shown to the world more and more, the first Bowl Judgments predicted in the book of Revelation are unleashed on those who have taken the mark of the beast.

Amid the chaos, the Tribulation Force plans a mass exodus of the believers of the world, sending them to a place in the desert called "Petra." But the ones gathered at Petra do not expect what awaits them there.

I enjoyed this series of books, but this one seemed a little different from the rest. It was interesting because I was invested in the characters and because of it being about the end times, but by this book I was thinking that the books were getting too stretched out.

I also did not like that Chloe left her child to go on a mission for the Tribulation Force. I read these books before I had a child, and I did not like this part of the story even then. Now that I have a child, I am even more convinced that this was totally out of character for a mother.

This series of novels is a fictionalized account of the events of the end times. I enjoyed the whole series. While this book is geared towards Christians, there is enough action and depth to it that should appeal to all. The characters are well done, and it is easy to follow the many plots that are going on within these books.
