Bought 2 copies of this book to share with friends. I have met the father when he spoke at our church. The story is truly inspiring and I recommend it to anyone who may have doubts about Heaven.

If you want to read about the parents struggles dealing with a sick child this is your book. The boy does not describe much about heaven, there is less than a full page about his experience with Jesus or angels. So if you want to read about his visit to heaven you are going to be disappointed. One good thing about this book is the parents love for this child and how the church and community helped these parents thru out their ordeal.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed on almost every page in this book. I am buying many copies to give away as gifts to New Agers, the Unchurched, C & E Christians, The Unsaved, Agnostics, etc. Well done Kevin and Alex! I am not one to take a person's claims to the supernatural very lightly. I do believe that miracles still happen; I believe that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So why can't the wonderful miracles and happenings from biblical times happen today? The bible gives us the tools to discern what is true and untrue. I believe that Alex's experience really happened. I would get goosebumbs because the Holy Spirit felt so strong while I was reading of the wonderful things God was doing through this boy. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone, and pretty much have :)

I enjoyed reading this account of a little boy who makes a trip to heaven. It should give anyone who is struggling with their belief of heaven a clear perspective of true hope and the reality of where believers will go at the end of our journey on earth.

I have read this book and also Heaven is for Real. In my thoughts if you liked Heaven is for real you will LOVE this book. The book read well and was organized in a manner different than most books I've read. Most of the book is written from the father's aspect. However, each chapter had comments from either the son who was in the accident or people who had seen the accident, treated the son, or knew him personally. This brought a very personal "flavor" to the story. I enjoyed reading this book so much and it comforted me after the death of a loved one. I know my loved one is in heaven, but this book gave me some insight as to what heaven is like and what my loved one may be doing now.

After reading this I wanted to make sure all my friends had an opportunity to read it. The Lord is faithful, and this family has gone through a great deal that I imagine is, to this day, strengthening their faith. I was particularly impressed with the church family that surrounded them in their time of need. We could all take a lesson from them. Will make you cry, laugh and praise God for His greatness.
