Mr Torrey shares simple,yet profound, principals concerning prayer.We have become a society that expects everything to be granted immediately.We learn from this book that we must know and understand God's promises to the Church---once we know them,we begin to ask God to fulfill His promises,and we see God answering.Just before we pit on our Cantata this year,a number of men prayed just before we started--my prayer was simple---"Holy Spirit-help us to get out of Your way and allow You to work Through us".Such a peace came over all involved and we saw God at work.
