This is a little more extensive version of a book that I was first given at a Faithful Men of Michigan group a number of years ago. Henry's take on the subject of Love is a good one that every man needs to hear. It a short but powerful book that brought me to a place where I better understood that we do not love like that... Not without a dependency on the Lord for incredible Grace and Growth. This particular version is the one that my wife had given me after I gave a copy away. Since I had given it away also I needed to replace it in order to read it again. It is one of those books I keep on my priority list to re-read from time to time. I recommend that it become a part of your bookshelf and that you keep some around to give away. There are cheaper versions available of this great little book to do so if you find this as helpful as I do to bless the lives of others.

The revision of the original text made is very easy to read. The end notes and various versions gave you a better in depth study. The four new chapters, however, were what truly set this apart from any other copy of this text. It gives a deeper insight into the word "love" through his examples from scripture using the two terms agape and phileo.
