I own many study Bibles and have been priviledged to help in critiqing 2 different study Bibles before they went to market. This Bible is one of my favorites ever. The features are easy to use and very informative. It is perfect for a new Christian that has just started studying God's word. It is also wonderful for those who have studied for years. The NLT is new to me this year and is quickly becoming a favorite. It is a good honest translation that is easy to read and comprehend.

I had tried one of these Bibles before; didnt take the time/effort to learn to use its' features and sent it back. I decided to try one again; Im glad I did. This chronological Bible is MUCH easier to use, with more features, than the NKJV Chronological Bible. The NLT version has become my favorite reading version, and that adds to this Bible's usability. I highly recommend it.

This is the most amazing bible I have ever seen. It has many new unique features that I have not seen in any other bible. You have to see it to appreciate it. I am really impressed with the thought and work that must have gone into it. We bought two. My wife and I each have one. I most highly recommend it.

I have read the Bible for over thirty years. I have read many translations and I have to say this translation (NLT) is up there with all the best. It is easy to read, accurate, and the commentaries, references, the size of print are great. I like the fact that everything is laid out in the order that it happen in Bible history, especially in the book of Acts and the writings of Paul.
I also have to add this final note. I have dealt with Christian Books for years and I must say they are very reliable. Product is delivered on time and if you need a replacement it is delievered very fast.

First of all, I would highly recommend this Bible, however, if you are older or have trouble seeing smaller print, I advise you to order a magnifier for the study notes & helps. The regular print is not a problem at all but for me I need a magnifier plus reading glasses to see the study helps.
The NLT is one of my favorite translations that make reading the Bible much easier to do. I have a few different NLT Bibles and this one is my favorite. There are gorgeous, colorful pictures, maps, and charts...many interesting features in this Bible. I ordered the brown with mahogany stripe and it is soft, supple, and very nice to hold. This Bible would be a great gift to a teenager as it will have a lot to draw them in and keep their interest besides being easy to follow. I hope they come out with a large print of this so I can give this one as a gift and order a larger print for myself. I do wish Tyndale would wrap their Bibles in plastic as I received this one with some scratches on the gold gilding and a couple bent pages.

The feature that makes the Chronological Life Application Study Bible stand out among others is it's insistence on making the reader aware of the chronology behind the passage under study. On every page at the top is a consistent timeline of biblical history from creation to the spread of Christianity. This contextualizes the story during the whole reading experience. The specific area covered by the passage is also highlighted on the timeline that is consistent, page after page throughout the Bible. This is a tribute to discipleship materials.

This Bible has me starting in Genesis for a new study of the Bible. My plan is to go slow and to use other study Bibles along with this new Chronological Bible. This is no race to read the Bible through in a year but rather a slow study to dig deep and be blessed. Having a Bible in chronological order is a big help.

We were disappointed because we did not notice this was a chronological Bible. We wanted it for our daily Bible study as a couple as we read through the Bible each year. The notes, maps, and pictures are excellent but finding where to read is frustrating.

oh! What a great book it is. I have read in the old testament the books of esaiah, Jeremiah and ezekiel, but it was very difficult to understand those books because all the chapters are mixed in time. With this Bible all is clear and perfectly understandable. We read as if a historic book, in the order of the events. Plus there are tabloid with all the kings and their times. Also very good explanation are written in each pages. There is also archeology with pictures. I have about 500 books and this one is on top of them all. I highly recommend it for those who wants to marvel at God's word a lot more.

I absolutely love this Bible. I literally cannot quit reading it and am learning so much. I love the maps, the history and most of all the devotional thoughts used to analyze the scripture and how to apply it to everyday life.

This Bible not only is written in the NLT, but gives a layman's version that is more easily understood. I liked this Bible so well that I ordered one for my Sunday School teacher. I have been doing research on finding a good study bible for about a year, I believe I hit the jackpot with this Bible.

The Life Application Bible is my most favorite Bible. I use it more than an other Bible I own. I just got the Chronological Life Application Study Bible and love all the additional information it contains. Love, Love, Love these two Bibles!!!
