This book is written like a business book in that it is written for leaders, although being humble is important for everyone.

The book takes a look at humility through history, how Jesus changed humility into something that was desired, and how it is important in leadership today.

The book tells stories of people in history to illustrate his points. This made the book interesting.

Note that the author is from Sydney and the spelling is British. He also uses illustrations from Australia and his personal life. All of this makes the book interesting as well.

I had purchased the hardback copy which was about 180 pages without the reference notes. (It may or may not still be available.) The book is full of black & white photos of the people he references, has a Bibliography and Notes section for further study.

We have purchased copies of Humilitas to walk through as a Pastoral team. It has proven to be a great decision as Dickson's way of tackling this virtue leads to rich discussion!
