I was hoping for the bonded leather and thin quality paper. I tried to read between the lines to gauge the quality, and was a little disappointed. Not a paperback by any means, but not grade A quality either.

I had to get a bible for my son for school. The school recommended the award bible but the print is really small. My son is only six and is a beginner as far as reading. It is a nice Bible though. It is just hard to see the words.

This is a great bible for the value. It is slim, easy to read and looks nice. I am not very impressed by the cover. It isnt' very thick and is very stiff, unlike leather. However you can't beat the price for having an extra bible around, for a small gift, or just an extra translation.

This is an inexpensive version of the excellent English Standard Version (ESV). It does not have the frills and study aids found in other ESV printings, but it is fine as a gift or award Bible. I am using it as a prize to encouage dialog on a church web blog.
