Kregel Publications Thy Kingdom Come

How do interpretations of the "Kingdom of God" differ? How can we distinguish the various covenants of the Old Testament? How does the church relate to the covenants made with Israel? What will the future kingdom be like? Pentecost traces the history of the kingdom program and its relationship to the development of the covenant promises. 360 pages, softcover from Kregel.

This book belongs on the bookshelf of every Christian. As a student working on my M. Div., I found the book surprisingly easy to read, but never turned a page without seeing something, whether the parables, covenants, or even the Genesis accounts in a different light. Pentecost has written what unfortunately will probably never be seen as a classic, but deserves to be listed with some of the great works of the 20th century.

Thy Kingdom Come is a must buy! He has provided a long awaited balance between covenant and dispensational teaching.
