Wow! An unusual story - but one which works on so many levels. In many ways this story is a parable - but it is also a powerful moving contemporary story. Very character driven - and the characters are well drawn. Initially the story started slowly - but once I got through the first 50 pages or so I could not put it down. After reading The Debt as well - I plan to read all of Angela Hunt's books. This is one gifted author!A wonderful read!!!!

What a great book! The story is intriguing and the characters are well written and well developed with realistic flaws and emotions. Occasionally the dream sequences got a little unrealistic, but the book as a whole was captivating.
