This book has a profound statement to make regarding the value of the Holy Spirit in conservative Christian circles. It has been long forgotten. The Spirit's power has been 'reasoned' away into an idea and a cold lifeless doctrine in many churches. Francis Chan aptly refutes this misguided and dangerously heretical practice of quenching the Spirit out of worship, church, and ultimately our lives.

Anyone who wants more of Jesus, more life changing renewal and perspective MUST pick up this book and face the facts. We are not being driven by the same Spirit that led the early church! Both conservative and charismatic (and anyone in between) circles will love this book. I highly reccomend it. If it doesn't change you, then you never read closely enough!
