Review 1 for Understanding the Book of Mormon: A Quick Christian Guide to the Mormon Holy Book - eBook
Easy Read, Great Summary

While this book does not detail Mormon Doctrine, it does an excellent job describing how Mormon doctrine has been derived. Definitely worth reading as it only took me a couple of hours and I felt very informed on how they relate the Bible and other Mormon works of "scripture". I also felt that the author was sensitive enough that you could give this to a Mormon friend who is sincerely wanting to know for themselves the history of the Book of Mormon.

Review 2 for Understanding the Book of Mormon: A Quick Christian Guide to the Mormon Holy Book - eBook
This book is an excellent resource for anyone who is seeking to witness to Mormons in a kind and respectful manner. The author is very respectful in his treatment of these topics and sought out LDS for their input in the controversial sections of the book. This book provides an overview of Book of Mormon themes and doctrines as well as a summary of key teachings in the Doctrine and Covenants. The book also examines LDS claims in light of historical and archeological research, and responds to LDS apologists' attempts to prove the Book of Mormon authenticity using literary evidence and parallels to ancient Near East practices. Excellent book!
