Invitatia celor de la Tyndale House Publishers de a parcurge un devotional adresat special alergatorilor mi s-a parut ceva demn de luat in considerare pentru periaoda de viata in care ma aflu.
The Runner’s Devotional: Inspiration and Motivation for Life’s Journey…On and Off the Road, scrisa de o o echipa inedita tata –fata, Dave Veerman - Dana Niesluchowski contine multe sfaturi utile celor aflati la inceputul sau implicati mai de mult in activitati fizice.

I started running back in January 2011. I wasn't a runner before that time. Over the months I've been working towards becoming a better runner, like running longer and faster. When I had the opportunity to review this book I was excited. I truly was looking forward to finding help in running with motivation and to use my running for God. I love how the reading is short, applies to my workouts and is perfect for any runner new or seasoned. I love the tips, and the weekly runner's log. I can keep everything together in this one book. I am so happy to see there is a devotional for runner's and I look forward to reading the entire book this year..

Review 3 for The Runner's Devotional: Inspiration and Motivation for Life's Journey . . . On and Off the Road
This book is a weekly devotional that was meant to span an entire year (52 weeks). Each week contains a running log, tips on running, inspiration from the Scriptures, and personal stories from people. It's a mediocre devotional but a good resource to encourage a healthy lifestyle. Further, the entries are very short so you really only read one day a week so it isn't really time consuming or a hassle to add to your regular mountain of devotionals you may be reading.

Review 4 for The Runner's Devotional: Inspiration and Motivation for Life's Journey . . . On and Off the Road
I have been running for over a year now and have participated in 2 5K runs. It has become so much more than a physical activity for me. The Runner's Devotional has been helpful in leading me into spiritual application. It is also a great motivator on those days I don't "feel like it". The runner's log in the back of each chapter is helpful in recording my progress from day to day. I've only been reading this devotional for about 4 weeks, but so far it has been an insightful companion. I'm beginning to train for a 10K and there are several different running/training plans in the back of the book! How great is that! Although it is only a guide, I know it will be helpful in helping me achieve my goal of running a 10K. The personal stories and achievements shared in each devotion help me know I can do it too! A good choice for beginning runners and avid runners alike.
