Zondervan The Case for Christ, Student Edition

Who was Jesus? A good man? A lunatic? God? There's little question that he actually lived. But miracles? Rising from the dead?

Some of the stories you hear about him sound like just that--stories. A reasonable person would never believe them, let alone the claim that he's the only way to God! But a reasonable person would also make sure that he or she understood the facts before jumping to conclusions. That's why Lee Strobel--an award-winning legal journalist with a knack for asking tough questions--decided to investigate Jesus for himself. As an atheist, Strobel felt certain his findings would bring Christianity's clear claims about Jesus tumbling down like a house of cards. He was in for the surprise of his life.

Join him as he retraced his journey from skepticism to faith. You'll consult expert testimony as you sift through the truths of history, science psychiatry, literature, and religion reveal. Like Strobel, you'll be amazed at the evidence--how strong it is, and what it says. The facts are in. What will be your verdict in The Case for Christ?

Gave this book as a graduation gift to some 8th grade graduates. Great book for teens who have some background in the church, but are looking for concrete answers for their faith.

This book definitely answers the question or doubts you may have about Christ. Was Christ really God's son, the one prophesied? Could he really have been raised from the dead? These questions are answered. The author doesn't push his oponion on you but gives you the facts and tells you how he drew his conclusions.

Excellent Book! I love it. It provides a different view on the case for Christ and what evidence there is to prove what we already know.

I bought this a few years ago and gave it to my then 13 year old son. He has grown up in the church but has not yet given his life completely to Christ on his own terms. He recently read this book at the age of sixteen and he was blown away with what he learned. He had been questioning whether he believed in God or not due to some very difficult circumstances in his life and just being a teen. I'm excited to say that the Lord has blessed his reading this book and He's drawing him closer and closer to Himself everyday. He gave his life to the Lord when he was just seven years old but has had so many questions that this book answered for him. God is good and I thank Lee Strobel for writing this student edition for our youth. We'll be purchasing many more for our youth here at church. God Bless!

I am so grateful for this book. We wanted something to equip our kids to deal with the misconceptions of Christianity and the Bible among their friends as well as in our extended family. This book is a great tool and it is written to them at their age level using current illustrations that are relevant to them.

We often consider our young people too immature to handle the deeper subjects of the Christian Faith. And that is why they are so immature - we don't feed them. What is more important than their relationship to Christ? Here is a book that is written on the teen level. And it does cause the teen to hunker down and think. There is a workbook also if you care to use it. Either way do cause your teen to do some thinking - and thereby causing him/her to love their Savior.

I have read the original "The Case for Christ" and I was so pleased to see an edition written for teens. Like the original edition, this is well written but in a format that is stimulating and easy to follow, yet it is still packed with powerful defenses for Christ. It would make an excellent bible study book for a youth group. In fact, a person of any age could glean a great deal of information that can strenghten their own faith and give them confidence in defending it.
