Very indepth and straight forward. Definitely sheds some light on different verses in Genesis and helps you to understand God's plans for us all.

Exploring Genesis was an excellent resource for study when I was teaching an adult ladies class.The content gives not only a distinct view of God's preservation of His people Isreal,but also applications for our lives today.It is wonderful.

This is the most comprehensive study of Genesis I have read in commentary form. It is clear, concise, highly informative, well-researched, scholarly and yet so approachable. Dr. Phillips is an outstanding writer whose literary style places the reader in touch with the time, place, events and surrounding circumstances of the move of God. It is a fascinating and uplifting commentary and I treasure the page-to-page enlightenment he offers with freedom, creativity and an absolutely magnificent brilliance for bringing biblical language to life.

Not just any commentary, but ready to arm any teacher or pastor with outlines to work from. It takes the time to wrestle with the hard topics and always pushes the student to look towards the future --the Cross of Christ. A masterpiece that I'm enjoying as I attend Providence Bible College.
