Good book. In fact there are three books in one. The author had first published the themes separetedly. In not so many pages he get the most to explain facts, to define borders and to state a balanced Christian and Biblical position. It is so far a very good introduction.

I have just finished reading "Exploring Church History", the first of the three books in this set and the one that I wanted to read.
I bought this book expecting a more detailed description of Church History and was disappointed that this was more of an overview aimed at perhaps a high school level.
I would recommend the book for people who know very little about church history and want an introduction, or a starting point for further investigation. However, for people who already have a general idea of Church History there will be little in this book that they do not know.
For myself, I am still looking for a definitive guide to Church History and this book has not advanced my search very far at all.
