Why would the people who was behind the NLT Study Bible allow false doctrine to be included behind the bible. It has a Catholic article saying that we need other material which is authoritative like scripture to understand scripture. Behind the Study Bible a Catholic theologian said that we need the Catechism to interpret the Bible. This is what the catechism teaches for example: 460 The Word became flesh to make us "partakers of the
divine nature":
78"For this is why the
Word became man, and the Son of God became the Son
of man: so that man, by entering into
communion with the Word and thus receiving divine s
onship, might become a son of God."
79"For the Son of God became man so that we might become God."
80"The only-begotten Son of
God, wanting to make us sharers in his divinity, as

make men gods."
Has you can see above how Satanic that is.
The NLT as false doctrine in back of it. It's titled "Introduction to the time after the Apostles". Read under the section "SCRIPTURE AND TRADITION" . Basically it says that you need the Catholic Tradition to understand the Bible and and is as authoritative as the Bible. Now, that's false doctrine.

Love all the stuff that is available in the NTL Study Bible. Use it from time to time for commentary since I mainly use the ESV Study Bible. I love the theme articles and person profiles. I also love how those or the commentary is Christ centered!

It is so full of references you would not have time to read scripture, so have opted to read the scriptures and only read the notes when want to get a fuller picture.
This bible is excellent for a new believer and we use this version for preaching to those who have limited knowledge of English.

In my opinion, the NLT Study Bible and the ESV Study Bible are the best Study Bibles available today. However, each one is suited for an entirely different group of people. If you're a serious student of the Bible and/or you're in a serious Bible study class, or if you're a scholar or church official, or someone that is writing a paper or a book on the Bible, the literal word-for-word translation of the ESV (Study Bible) would be better for you. On the other hand, if you're like the vast majority of us, neither scholars nor teachers or writers in need of a literal word-for-word translation to study in depth, the easy-to-read, highly understandable, thought-for-thought translation of the NLT (Study Bible) is the perfect choice. You will literally "get" all of it. Reading the NLT (Study Bible) lets you connect to the word of God in a deeper way and you will understand the Bible like never before. Though not a literal translation, it's still a highly accurate translation.
Now, on to the product itself. Unless you get a personal size Bible, all Study Bibles worth reading are going to be big and bulky. This is no exception. However, it is not "huge" by any means, in my opinion, though it is heavy. The Bible lays flat open very nicely and the binding is good. The pages are as thin as any other Study Bible, so there is some bleed-through but it's not bad and it doesn't make reading difficult. The 9-point text is very readable. The study notes are smaller, but unless you're older and/or have vision problems, it's easy to read. All of the maps, notes, and other features are very nice. This is, overall, a great product and I have thoroughly enjoyed reading my NLT Study Bible. It's everything I wanted and everything I thought it would and could be. I highly recommend this to anyone.

I love using this great resource. It provides unique insights and it really does feel like a teacher is there besire you, guiding me through my study. The only feature I slightly do not like are how the pages turn (I purchased the hardcover edition) they are somewhat difficult to move through. Other than that I'm very pleased!
