It meets my expectations! I can now read & listen to the Bible without having to quit and change tapes. Before I would just get into it & the tape would run out & I would have to change tapes. No more lugging around 100 tapes! I can take this Bible with me on trips without having to lug a big Bible with me. This Bible takes no room at all. I put on my head phones & just pretend I am watching a movie of what is happening or pretend I am there.
The recharging of it is great also, don't have to buy a lot of batteries!

I had purchased this audio Bible, because the former audio Bible I used tended to get activated in my bus commuting bag and expend the battery without my being able to get to it. This newer audio Bible has also tended to come on when not in use, in my bag. I will be looking for a hard case for it. The audio Bible itself offers a great deal of options, apart from hearing the Bible read aloud, one can read the Bible visually as well as, or instead of, listening to the Scriptures. The aid serves to some degree as a PDA, though such devices have largely gone by the wayside with the advent of smart phones. The audio Bible is lightweight and easy to use; I would have liked it to have a feature for memorizing God's Word, but it doesn't have that. It's a good product, by and large.

With seeing the text and hearing the word pronounciation of certain names and places makes reading the bible more enjoyable. The dramatized background sounds are a bonus and different readers role playing the verses is great.

The 1st time time I saw the NowBible I knew I had to have it. I liked it so much I ordered 2. It does everything I hoped for & more. It so easy to use & can carry it anywhere. Great for church too. I highly recommend.

I love my electronic Bible. It is what I expected & hoped for. It is great to listen to & the clarity of the voices are excellent. I enjoy listening to the different character's voices, as well as hearing all the acoustics surrounding the dialogue, which I must say are amazing. When I'm listening I feel as if I am right there.
It is a blessing that electronic Bibles are now available. For people who have a problem reading the text in a Bible can now listen & enjoy God's Word. In fact the Electronic Bible is for everyone, as a person can put it in their pocket or purse, then when they want they can just pop the earphones in & be in the Word. Personally, I would not give up my Bible.

I had bought this bible as a gift for my sister. She absolutely loves it! It more than lives up to expectations. Text is easy to read and audio is very clear. Love the fact that you can change font size. I am going to purchase one for myself.

This mp4 Player with the bible on it is my new friend. I take it everywhere I go. Such a great thing in the waitingroom of a doctor, at long trips - anywhere I would feel boring. Most of the people think I'm playing games at my mobile. So I had some interesting talks about why reading the bible everywhere - an experience from funny to interesting. If you read it for someone after asking what you are doing there, all the others haven't the chance to not listen.....funny evangelistic action.
And it is not in my language - so I can add a bit as explanation.
Most I like is I can read and listen at the same time. Or I do only this or that. I can safe my own note to a verse, and so much more features to make reading the bible interesting - a nice "addiction".
Need an encouraging word about fear - go to the list of verses.....................
I'm going to buy another translation as addition.

This portable bible is a very convenient piece of hardware to own. It contains so much useful information (not just the bible itself, but the dictionaries and crossreferences as well). I take it with me everyday when I commute. A must have for every Christian.

I have tried like many others to read through the bible in a year and have yet to make it through. I have had this for some time now and am just about done. This is so moving and motivating. Hearing the words with the dramatization puts you there in that moment and really allows the word of God to seep into your heart and mind. Not only will I finish the entire bible but I will listen to God word many, many times over. You can feel Gods love for his children and it makes his word so personally real. You may not always have time to sit and read but you can always listen while on the go or in the middle of doing something.
The volume is loud enough to hear even on the subway and its easy to navigate. I love that it comes with a charger so no batteries necessary. I can charge it up whenever and wherever I need to. I had a go bible without the dramatization and prefer this version so much more. I recommend this to everyone I know.

I am on the road and plug into my car radio. I would not be without it. I have my second one. The speaker jack on my 1st one went bad after about 3 month. They had me send my old one back and I had a new one in a week. That is service.

I bought this for my wife so no matter what she is doing she could have it with her or use it anywhere. It is small enough to take anywhere and it was priced right. We love how the voices are characterized, makes it come to life, and all of the other added features make it a great buy. Two thumbs up!

I purchased this NowBible for my wife. She is from Korea and just loves this NowBible. She uses it also as a tool to learning english as she can read along with the voice and then later repeat the scripture to get get the correct way to pronounce the words. She really likes the enhanced sounds in the back ground as it make the experience come alive.5 thumbs up.
