Full throttle suspense and action, but this time we get to learn more about each of the characters, whom we met in previous books. The characterization enriches the story, which is in and of itself, enough to not put the book down. The significance of the Jewish heritage and the current political intrigue in the area enlighten the reader through historical and current happenings. The experience of the authors validates the actions, thoughts and feelings of each of the characters. Another great read by the Munsons!

In their life "before writing Christian suspense fiction," David was an NCIS Special Agent, and an undercover DEA Special Agent and Diane was a Federal prosecutor. But they "retired" from federal life in the fast lane to suspense novels that combine their exciting cases into factional fiction. They change the names and places.
Their newest release, The Joshua Covenant, takes you on a fast paced ride with CIA agent Bo Rider who is "under cover" as a State official stationed with the American Embassy in Israel. His purpose in doing this is to uncover a mole.
Danger. Espionage. Bombs. Past family history and current entanglements. His loyalty to his country challenged and his identity in question. Sinister forces unleashed internationally. It reads like startling headlines.
You won't find questionable behavior or language in this book. The book is written to a Christian audience but by doing so loses none of its excitement and power. All audiences will enjoy this book: mature teens, young adults, men or women, Christian or non-believer. The storyline is enthralling.
I received a complimentary copy of The Joshua Covenant from the authors, Diane and David Munson. I was not required to post a positive review.

The Joshua Covenant takes readers on a wild ride with multiple dangerous plots threatening Israel and Americans working there. Has the US Embassy in Israel been compromised? Who is responsible for the security leaks? CIA agent Bo Rider takes his family to Israel, where he works to help uncover the spies and stop nefarious activity. Whom, if anyone, can he trust?
Others involved wonder if they can trust Bo. Is he really who he claims to be? Bo faces one of the biggest challenges of his career. Not only must he risk his life to stop enemies, he must face his own past and prove his innocence.
As with other thrillers by Diane and David Munson, the pace ramps up as the story nears its dramatic conclusion. Readers will not be disappointed by the adventure and the discoveries. This novel feels like it came right out of current news. As their tagline indicates, it’s definitely high-velocity suspense.

I received this book free from Micah Publishing.
WOW, Intriguing and fast paced,.....hard to put down.....With every step Bo Rider seems to be in a totally boring job at the Israeli Embassy. The assignment has allowed him to have his family with him and everyone is enjoying Dad home at night and many fun field trips as they homeschool. Bo wonders why he is even there until.....an emergency trip back to the US unfolds more than enough reasons to be in Israel.
Things begin to happen and Bo finds himself feeling as if he is in enemy territory. Who is the "leak" what is going on that Bo needs to find out before his family and close associates are endangered?
The Munson's experiences and the accuracy they write with makes for a very interesting book. I found myself almost crazy to find a few minutes to make sure the family safely returns from their bus tour of Jerusalem. The tours have significance in the entire story but at the onset really seem quite unnecessary. But not so.........READ THIS ONE......It is amazing to see how all the pieces fall together in a puzzle with many many pieces and not all are favorable for Bo.
