Customer Reviews for City Christian Publishing The Covenants

City Christian Publishing The Covenants

Why did God create man? What is His purpose for man? How is God redeeming man? Perhaps better than any other approach to interpretation, the divine covenants give us a biblical framework for our understanding of the administration of God's dealings with mankind throughout human history. The covenants provide a necessary backdrop for the study of many other biblical subjects and furnish solutions to various questions and controversies.

This text on covenants is a systematic presentation of the nine divine covenants found in Scripture, the knowledge of which provides a necessary backdrop for the study of many other biblical subjects.

This book is so in depth with information concerning the different covenants in scripture. It truly describes the purpose God for mankind, His plan of redemption for those who are lost and his covenant promises for His chosen people. A great tool for serious bible study and a must have for those who want to dig deeper into the origin of God's covenants and how they impact us today.

I've had this book for years and I can recommened it with great enthusiasm. It is written in textbook form with simple, easy to follow, yet very informative outlines. It follows 9 major Divine covenants in the Bible and is very eye opening for those who are willing to investigate. I have since purchased most of this authors books and I can say that I have never been disappointed with any of his works.
