Mrs. Cowman's experiences and lessons learned from the hand of God are still true of today. Our experiences are not unique! What a blessing to come across this wonderful little book. Besides the Bible, this book gives much to think and pray about and always points to our hope and healing in Christ.

My mother had given me this book which she had read several times. I started reading it on the 1st day of January....and it dawned on me, after about 3 months....that this book is different than anything I have read. The thoughts captured in this book are so wise and you feel your faith building...and wanting to read ahead. The title itself is so profound to me..."Streams in the Desert"...how uplifting! I recently purchased two copies from Christianbook.com. One I gave a young woman in our church who had been going through extreme physical problems. The 2nd copy is available to whomever God lays on my heart.
