My son does not care for writing. This book is helping him learn that writing is something he can do. The writing process is broken down into very easy steps. For children who are not naturally creative writers, this book makes writing easier. This is not a grammar book. It will really help your child know that they can write.

Review 2 for Just Write, Book 1

My DD is loving this book along with Wordsmith Apprentice. We are doing both simultaneously. She started off in public school and thought creative writing was so diffcult and the writing elements just didn't make sense. Besides being a serious and literal person, she likes things to have sequence and meaning. This books allowed her to feel structured enough in her creative process that is wasn't daunting or scary.
