Our family bought the Bible for our 93 year-old mother. She reads the Bible every day, but the normal size print is somewhat of a problem. (She has macular degeneration in one eye.) Mom adores the NLT Large Print Study Bible. The text is clear and large enough for her to read it easily. She likes the colors of the cover, too. For my mom, this was a WOW! gift. Thanks, CBD.

This is an awesome bible for young adults to read and study I have purchased 2 so far and is being used greatly by the new owners. Easy to understand and use by young adults and the olser generation. Thank you for making such a bible advailable for me to purchase.

I recieved my Bible today and I love it! I had been hesitant to order because I thought the print would be too small for me but it isn't. I love this version. I have it on my Kindle in the NLT version. I already had the NIV version of the Life Application Bible and love that too, but in the largest print it is heavier and I just love the NLT better. Some versions I've seen have really thin pages, this one doesn't, the quaility is FANTASTIC and the price is too!! Don't hesitate on this one, you will really be pleased.

The bonded leather and color of it are beautiful. The initials I had put on the front are ok, but I wish I had gone ahead and had it embossed with my whole name. The initials look kind of skimpy. Also, there are a few things I have wanted to find in the concordance/dictionary that weren't there...like names of people I wanted to find in other passages. The material that is included is very good, and I like to read it while the passage is being taught or preached. It adds a lot.

This bible was purchased for our adult daughter whose faith is growing by leaps and bounds these days. I wanted her to have a bible that explains God's word in everyday, easy-to-read language. This bible is perfect! It does not “water down” the meaning of the verses, yet it is easy to read, easy to use, and it has all the incredible life applications at the bottom of each page that explain the setting, the background, and the “life application” of the verses on the page. It is perfect, useful, and profoundly applicable for believers of all ages.

I got this as a gift for someone, but I recently got one for myself and really love it, I'm a KJV diehard, but the Living Bible has won my heart for nearly 40 years sence it first came out, I love the study Bible part of it, thank you for the years of dedicated hard work, staying true to God's word.

If you want to get to know God for yourself, I recommend this Bible. I have read the Bible six times and everytime I read from this translation I get a better and more clear picture of what God mean to me. Thank you!

Good quality. The leather was good quality. The best part of this bible is the NLT version, and also the tabs to quickly index to where you want to go. This works well when in a service and you need to find a book quickly.

This Bible was a gift to me from my church. They gave one to both my wife and me. I tend to shy away from dynamic equiv translatons, but this one is different. Upon comparing it to other translations like the NASB and ESV which are both essentially literal translations, I don't see any variation in meaning. The wording is easy to understand and flows, so to speak. I use this Bible in Sunday school because there are several new christians in the class, and I think this translation is good for them. It makes difficult passages very clear without compromising or distorting the Truth. My hat's off to Tyndale; producing a translation that is this clear and still very accurate could not have possibly been an easy task. The Life Application notes are also very good for the new or young christian, as well as the mature. The more advanced Bible student will get much use out this Bible , but I would say more as a companion Bible, or for comparing with other translations. The only reason I didn't give it a five is that there are minor physical defects in the Bible. The defects are very small and would probably go unnoticed by a lot of people, but I think quality means no defects. Quality control in Bible production needs to be top notch. For a lot of people, like me, the Bible is the most valuable thing you could own, and should be free from preventable defects. Otherwise, this translation and the Life App notes get five stars from me.

This Bible is well constructed. The gilded edge on the pages is high quality and does not flake off. Typeface is small, but readable. Words of Christ are in red. Study notes are very helpful explaining the verses. It contains a large concordance as well as many color maps. The best part of this Bible is the easy-to-read NLT translation. The NLT, coupled with the study notes, gives me a deeper understanding of Scripture. I'm also a fan of the NASB but when I'm reading my NASB I often find myself looking up the same verses in my NLT Life Application Study Bible for an explanation of what's going on and how the lesson being taught can be applied in my life. The only thing this Bible can benefit from is the addition of a second ribbon marker. Great choice for a beginner in Bible study!

This is a wonderful Bible. I purchesed one for myself when I was over sea's in the military. I recently orderd one for my nephew as a birthday gift. Sadly it takes alot longer than a month to recieve this bible. I recomend This bible, but order it from a different company!
