What a treat to hear words pronounced properly that I was unable to pronounce before this. I enjoy reading the Bible every day and sometimes I would encounter words or names that I was unable to pronounce properly - and that is why I purchased this product. It's outstanding.

I ordered the giant print hard back edition. I really love this Bible. It is easy to read and understand. I highly recommend it and CBD for their great service.

The packaging is sturdy and convenient and I consider it to be good value for money. Unfortunately the narrator sometimes swallows his words and is cut short at the end of some chapters, so you really need to listen carefully - which makes it a little hard when you are driving. I love the King Games translation but my husband finds it difficult to follow. I would recommend this product to someone who wants to listen to it at home, where it is quiet.

I wish I had not purchased this. It was expensive but I thought I would get a lot of use out of it. I read all the reviews and listened to the brief online sample and believed I was making an educated decision. Unfortunately I am finding it difficult to listen to this same narrator hour after hour. I had also purchased it for my children who have been continually asking me to put something different on even though in the past they have enjoyed hearing books of the Bible read by different narrators. On top of this as others have noted, I have found that the quality is poor on some of the CDs. Revelation has a scratchy echo after every word. When I called to see if I could exchange if for a different version I was told since it was opened there was nothing they could do for me. I have been a customer with this company for years and have never been dissatisfied but I plan make future purchases elsewhere.

Years ago, I had cassette tapes of Alexander Scourby reading the New Testament in the KJV. This time, I went for the whole Bible. It is wonderful to again hear that wonderful, eloquent Scourby presentation, this time of the whole Bible in the KJV. I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but have 'spot listened' and have found it everything I expected it to be. This presentation is inspiring, comforting, and a real treat to hear. I give it the highest possible recommendation. The CDs are of good quality and they fit well in the case. Each CD indicates which passages are being read, so it is easy to navigate. Well worth getting!

I enjoy it I drive 1hr 15 min to work and listen to it .it helps me when I don't know how to pronounce a word in the bible. It also helps me retain more than just reading it from the bible . Great value for the money.

I am pleased with my purchase. When I listened for the first time I was expecting the sound to be crisp. As it is it sounds like a dolby noise reduction capability is turned on. Quality is not bad and there is no difficulty in understanding the articulation and enunciation. Perhaps there are reasons for this, but in any case, I am pleased and listen as I drive routinely.

My boys are at an age where they want to know what the Bible says, but have a hard time reading it. We have been enjoying listening to a CD each day and reading along with it. It has been a wonderful experiance for us.

This CD set of the Bible was a gift for my wife's elderly parents who have been using it several times a day since it was received. They really enjoy it and value it since their vision has deteriorated to the point of make reading difficult.
