Tyndale House Blind Spot - eBook

Jamie Maxwell's dad is NASCAR driver Dale Maxwell--and he believes Jamie's got what it takes to be a champion. A crash has left Tim Carhardt drifting through life with one simple goal--survival. Get behind the wheel and see the race through the eyes of the drivers in this fast-paced thrill ride that spans a year of the chase for the cup!

Tim Carhardt is drifting through life with one goal--survival. Jamie Maxwell believes she can and will become the first female winner of the cup. But life isn't always as easy as it seems. What happens when dreams and faith hit the wall? In the trademark page-turner style Chris Fabry used in the Left Behind: The Kids series, these fast-paced books will keep even reluctant readers on the edge of their seats. Go behind the scenes of America's most-watched sport to see what it's like inside a 200-mph racecar as engines rev and lives collide. Recommended for ages 10 to 14.

It seems to be written more for teens or very young adults. However, I was willing to give it a try. LOVED IT! Read it in one afternoon (ebook).
One reviewer commented that it was a little rough in places -- I think it had to be to get the characters across.
I was disappointed when it ended -- Going to look for the others in the series. Hopefully they are about the same characters!

The story follows the lives of Jamie Maxwell and Tim Carhardt following the race in Talladega that changed Tim's life forever. It took a few chapters to figure out what was going on in the story because the book jumps back and forth between Jamie's life and Tim's life. Once I got into the book it was good but ended too quickly. I can't wait to read the next one to see what happens.

Great for NASCAR fans! These books have a wonderful spiritual message and lots of action, really hard to put down. Beware- they're cliff hangers and I can't wait for the next ones to come out!
