A great many Christmas movies have been made in years past. This one I would rate at or near the top of Christmas movies. Excellent acting, great story, funny in parts, and a real job to watch.

This is a very cute but entertaining holiday movie. If you read the book, then you should enjoy the movie as well. Doris Roberts is very funny and witty as she works her miracles. Debbie Macomber is one of my favorite authors and I have enjoyed both of her movies

I read the book and while there were a couple of small changes in the movie, it was outstanding! The casting of Doris Roberts as Mrs. Miracle was PERFECT! What a truly heart warming story.

The storyline is excellent, the surprise good-will happenings touch the heart. The ending is nice, but this is NOT a christian movie! Not even close. A "fairly good watching movie", yes. But WHY, oh WHY must a movie be ruined by frequent scenes of adults drinking alcohol, wine, champagne, whatever? Scenes in a bar, etc. What does it tell our kids is RIGHT if they watch a so-called christian movie and as soon as a man & woman celebrate romance together, the alcohol comes out? Next scene he brings a game to play and a bottle of alcohol/wine. They sit and visit and the camera focuses on the alcohol being poured. Near end of movie, the company Christmas party is celebrated where the BAR is pointed out clearly as "the thing to do" and everyone there is drinking. "The Bar Is Open!" is the big focus. Come on, cannot people celebrate Christmas without booze? And ruin a movie that could be good by sending a message to our kids that at Christmas time, drinking is "the cool thing to do". VERY POOR motives in movies these days. I wouldn't show this to other christians, I was not impressed with that part, however some good messages linger in spite of all the booze involved. Any christian would question showing this to youths unless they want them to become social drinkers. Not acceptable.
