From some reviews that I read, GP Taylor had been said to be the next CS Lewis--that is in no way true, except maybe that they have both done some fantasy Christian allegories.
The writing in this book was very simplistic, so if one expects a great literary work, don't look to this book.
I got through it, but I will not keep it on my shelf.
I am a solid Christian, but I do enjoy a good read.

I could hardly put this book down. It kept me totally involved in Taylor's life. I read it in only 2 days. Great book.
