My small group seems to be enjoying this Bible study. I personally like the study because it gets us directly into the study of scriptures rather than "how do you feel about" questions. It is an excellent value. It is helpful to both new Christians and long time Christians.

This is a great book on biblical foundations! It is an awesome Bible study for new Christians and mature Christians alike! I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to go deeper in their relationship with God.

I started the Purple Book with a leap of faith. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, nor did I even really know how to look up verses. Only after a few, "What? That doesn't make any sense!" moments, I would realize I was supposed to be looking up 1 John....instead I was just in the book of John. :) Needless to say, the book helps to understand a lot of things that new Christians need to know. It lays it out simply so you can have numerous "Aha!" moments. It's a long book, I'm still working on it now. But I LOVE working in it.

This book has a foundational start to a Christian walk laid out in a simple and easy study process for the beginner. Some areas are not touched upon but overall I have found it to be very practricle for young Christians. (It is also a refreshing study for 'older' Christians).

I minister to student-athletes and grew up in a Navigator Ministry home. This has been a great resource for new Christians and Many who grew up in church but just didn't really know what the Scriptures said. If you have lead or ever desired to lead a discipleship small group, this is for you. I have seen at least three young men receive Christ as a result of this study. Our college colors happen to be purple and gold - so God's sense of humor in the title was great for us.

We have found this to be an excellent and comprehensive study. It invokes great discussion and deepens faith and understanding of Christianity. We have used it as a follow-up study after Alpha.
