I purchased this book for my son, who does a lot of bike riding for charities. My son and family are going to take a trip soon and I thought this would be a great gift for him to take along on his trip to read. Book came in excellent condition and is a great personal story.

Paul Stutzman in his new book, "Biking Across America" published by Revell shows us My Coast-to-Coast Adventure and the People I Met Along the Way .
From the Back Cover: Discover the heart of America on this life-changing, cross-country bike adventure
After Paul Stutzman finished hiking the entire Appalachian Trail, he found himself longing for another challenge. Trading his hiking boots for a bicycle, Paul set off to discover more of America.
Starting at Neah Bay, Washington, and ending at Key West, Florida, Paul traversed the five-thousand-mile distance between the two farthest points in the contiguous United States. Along the way he encountered nearly every kind of terrain and weather the country had to offer-as well as hundreds of fascinating people who represent the challenges and triumphs of the entire country. Through cold and heat, loneliness and exhaustion, abundance and kindness, Paul pedaled on. His reward-and yours-is a glimpse of an amazing country that inspires us all.
If you long for adventure, love to meet new people, and love this place called America, get ready for the ride of your life.
"Biking Across America" is an interesting book. When my wife and I left the East Coast to move to the West Coast we made the journey by car. Over the course of our trip we saw quite a few states and cities and met a lot of really interesting people. This is somewhat similar to what Mr. Stutzman experienced though his was better, we made the trip by car, he made his by bicycle. "Biking Across America" is a memoir, an account of that journey. Want to know what our Country is like? This book is for you. Want to draw close to God? So did Mr. Stutzman and this book chronicles how he did it.

Paul Stutzman has done two things that I would have liked to have done. He’s hiked the entire Appalachian Trail and biked across the United States from the two farthest points in this country.
Can you imagine the adventures he’s had and the people he’s met? He shares some of them with us. He ran across some very interesting people.
You can hop on you bike and join him in a journey across the States. Or maybe, just curl up in a cozy chair and read about his exploits. It’s an adventure either way.
Even if you think you don’t care much for non-fiction, you’ll still really like this book.
