Are you looking for a book to help you get started in saving money for your family? Think it will be too time consuming or complicated? If you have any interest in coupons and saving money in your monthly budget this book is a great buy. The author uses her own life examples to help explain the different ways to save. I gave this book 5/5 stars. I thought the author did a great job of simplifying the saving process. She shows that even busy people can take a few minutes and save money every week. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a simple and easy to understand help book about saving your family money.
I would like to thank the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.

Kasey Trenum has some good information in her book, some of which I had not read in other places. That information includes timing of sale cycles, etc. However, couponing still comes down to requiring a great deal of time to make it actually pay. Just the time spent in gathering, looking on the Internet, and organizing them to take to the store, plus the extra time to shop with a great many coupons, makes it a non-starter for me. If you work part time or do not work outside your home, put Trenum’s information to work for you and save bunches of money.

Kasey Knight Trenum runs a couponing site called Time 2 Save Time 2 Give. This book covers the ways those who don’t want to fill their basements can live better through couponing. Don’t confuse her methods with a ho-hum way to grab some coupons at the last minute and run to the store. It takes work and planning.
Unlike the extreme couponers who clog checkout lines with $500 of merchandise, proudly whipping out $5 at the end, Kasey advises shopping to cover three months. She says sales return about that often.
The information is excellent and Kasey’s friendly personality shines through. The one problem is too much information in the first 67 pages. She used too many pages to sell couponing.
Kasey approaches couponing from a clear Christian slant. Much of her couponing goes to giving.
Worth the price. Those pinched by the economy will find it a useful handbook.
***I received this book through NetGalley. I do not receive pay for any book I review and I do not know the author. This review is my honest opinion.

I have tried to do the whole couponing thing before and quickly gotten frustrated & lost interest. This book was really good because it explained the couponing terms, process & examples of using multiple coupons. This author is very knowledgeable. She started couponing when her family started having financial problems due to job loss. You can see her blog at http://www.time2saveworkshops.com/
If you have always been curious about couponing this book is a great resource. I admire that the author not only encourages moderation but also encourages couponing to give it to charity.
I was given this book by the publisher in exchange for this review. All opinions are my own.

Everything you wanted to know about couponing and more.
Not everyone wants to become an extreme couponer, but the rest of us do want to save money at the grocery. Well, most of us regular folks who don’t have money to burn want to.
Does this economy have you saying ouch at the grocery (as well as lots of other places)? Then this book is for you.
Couponing can be easy without taking up a bunch of time. This book can get you started. If you already use coupons, this book can make it easier for most of us.
I know there are born organized people out there who maybe don’t need any help. Not me. I struggle to keep going without becoming sidetracked big time.
This book has been a blessing.

There are lots of books about couponing and even a television show. You’ve heard the stories. You’ve seen the pictures on Facebook of purchases and savings. There are couponing classes. Quite frankly, I don’t have the time or money for a class or a bunch of books especially when there’s tons of free information available online if you know where to look.
I, for one, don’t have time to clip coupons, scour sales flyers and plan accordingly. I barely have time to make a complete grocery list, and, to be honest, my time is worth more than my money these days. I suppose because I have more time than money. Yes, I want to save money, and quite frequently I do by using coupons for products I would buy anyway and trying to plan accordingly when there is a sale. I may be foolish, and maybe someday I will put forth the effort to coupon.
Kasey Knight Trenum believes in responsible couponing. She doesn’t advocate the extremes some go to in order to save money though she does stockpile certain items. In her book, “Couponing For the Rest of Us,” Trenum suggests ways to find and use coupons and save money. You may not find much difference in Trenum’s book and others available; however, she does respect your time and shows you how to use it wisely and still save money couponing. She shows you the benefits of stockpiling items that you will use not just purchase because of the money you save. She explains why some of the excuses you might use for not clipping coupons do not apply and helps you master the art of saving money not just coupons.
Clipping coupons for Trenum is more about being a good steward of her finances than anything else. She wants to be able to wisely handle her money as well as be generous to those in need. By couponing and watching for sales, she is able to do both.
