I just received this spelling book so we haven't actually used it yet but it looks wonderful. It is so much more than just spelling. The spelling words originate from different languages. Each lesson has an excerpt giving some history of each language. I wish I had found this spelling program earlier.

This is my favorite Spelling program. In the early years the focus is on the rules of spelling. Grades 6 and up still review spelling rules, but switch the focus to understanding vocabulary. Just Superior!

I have used this spelling for years and it shows them how to use the words right and they learn the meanings for the. The tests are very thorough. Great books to use.
