The Very First Easter tells children about the events of Easter in words and concepts they can understand. Using vibrant artwork from The Beginner's Bible, children will learn key events leading up to Jesus' death and resurrection, such as the Triumphal Entry, the Last Supper, Jesus' arrest, and his death and resurrection, as well as a page on Jesus' return someday. By the end of the story, children will understand the wonderful gift of salvation and why we celebrate this special day. Recommended for ages 2 to 5.

Customer Reviews for The Very First Easter - eBook
I purchased this book as an alternative to candy for my Sunday School children. The price was excellent and the children were so excited to receive a book. It was probably the first bible for most of them.
I liked this little book for its Biblical accuracy in the story and for the illustrations that were well done. Simple, yet gives more of Jesus' life leading up to the reason for his death. I had several others for my grandchildren, but this was my favorite for the little ones.
This book is a wonderful overview of the Easter story. It is appropriate for young children, with vivid illustrations on each page. The information is complete but divided in such a way as to keep children's attention.
Biblically sound with fun illustrations and language that children can understand. Be advised that if the child owns "The Beginner's Bible" this story is exactly the same- same wording and same illustrations- as it is in their Bible.
I purchased many of them. I gave the kids in my daycare them as an Easter gift. The children loved them. The pictures were very bright and colorful, and the wording was perfect for a young child. I highly recomend this item.
The Very First Easter is affordably priced and made a nice gift for a 3 year old's preschool class. The book is divided into shorter stories so you can read shorter segments asthe children's attention span allows.
