I'm now using OTC reading glasses due to aging eyesight. It's so nice not to be afraid I'll forget my glasses! It's larger than any Bible I've ever carried before, but that is a very minor sacrifice to make! Since it folds out to let you take notes I lay this down beside me because its too large to fit in my lap when opened. Thankfully that is an option so if the pew is crowded i can keep it closed while the Bible remains open. The magnifying book mark has also come in handy for the rare times I'm having a hard time reading the hymnal.

I ordered this bible for myself. I have failing eyesight and this Super Giant print is such a blessing! The price was very affordable. I appreciate the thumb indexing and especially the extras - - the reference verses, the additional pages for notes - - all in all it is really great. I think the only thing that might cause me concern is that I was only able to afford the "imitation leather" cover. This cover is quite thin and may not hold up to the constant use. However, that is only a "may not" and only time will tell. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my new bible and already making it my old friend. Thank you Christian Book for having it available.

I am truly blessed for having this excellent bible. I am 24 years old. Tye super giant print helps me to understand KJV clearly than small font prints. Small font prints keep my mind focus what I see and hard to concentrate to understand what each scripture says. Super giant print relaxes my mind and helps me to understand KJV. I can read all different size fonts but Super Giant print is perfect. You dont have to be old and poor sight to get one! It is pretty heavy for elders but still it is perfect. You will love it! DO NOT get an intimation one bc it wears out really fast. Intimation one is a good if you want to write on it.

I bought this for my hubby who resisted wearing reading glasses for years and was now wearing them to read his small pocket size King James Bible. He thought this Bible was too big at first but I now see him reading it each morning. We love the large text and don't need our reading glasses to read it. We love the old fashion tab markers and the fact that it has the red print for the words Jesus spoke. Overall it was a great purchase for a couple in their mid 40's with aging eyes. We love it!

I had been searching for a large print Bible, most considered 14 font large. This was the only one that I found that was truly large print.
I also wanted to have it embossed, many would not accomodate the long name that I wanted embossed. I was able to get the full name on this one.
I was a little put off by the dirty box that it came in, but it did arrive earlier than I expected and was the perfect 50th wedding anniversary gift for my parents!

The KJV large print version I would recommed to those with problems with seeing the smaller prints that are out I gave this large print to one one of my congregation who has problems seeing and I would highly recommed this version to any one that may need this Bible.

I am disappointed somewhat in this book. Although the font is 18 point, the actual ink printed on the paper is very light. I can only read this bible under very bright light. A shame to, since I ordered it in a genuine leather binding.

The font and font size are nice. At first glance the genuine leather is indistinguishable from plastic, and more importantly the pages are semi-transparent. It is still very readable and I use this Bible for my casual reading. If I had it to do over I would spend more on a finer one. I bought this mainly for the font size. This is my first NKJ. I find the wording to be superb and overall I love reading it.
