This product has been wonderful for our 8 year old son. It not only goes over valuable scripture verses, but gives real life examples that reflect the verses, gives him specific "dares" to challenge him & encourages him to think deeper & have more meaningful, Godly relationships. We would recommend it to other young boys.

My son is 15 and enjoys these devotionals! I got him this book and another one this year and he went thru the other one in a month! I was so disappointed. This one is great, though it's a fight to get him to write down the answers to the questions. He does one each morning and memorizes the verses according to that devotional. He is diagnosed on the autism spectrum so perhaps guy teens his age won't be as interested. He loves it though and so do I. Great way to get him into the Word of God and learning how to relate the Bible to his daily walk.

It's a new year filled with new resolutions. Many of us are hoping to deepen our faith in and relationship with God. The question is how? Well, if you know any tween boys, I've got a devotional that might help.
Triple Dog Dare is designed to fill a year with devotions for boys. Written by Jeremy V. Jones, it is similar to Truth & Dare, only clearly targeted at the slingshot toting sex. The layout is one verse a day, followed by a summary truth, a short devotional, and a triple dare to apply the truth. Then there's a chance to journal, but without the pretty lines in the girls' version. Each week focuses on a different emotion like Fear, Shame, Pride, etc. and in the bottom right-hand corner, there's a graphic that acts like a flipbook. It's a very cool devotional.
My older son is 8, so hasn't quite picked it up on his own yet, but wants to. A little prompting from me, and I know he'll dive into it. Why? Because it's geared at boys his age with his interests. And I love that

God's word is a powerful source of our beings and as Christian parents, their desires is to bring their children up in the Word of God. As young kids, their minds can start to wander as they try and fit in with peers and sometimes succumb to pressure , the other thing is kids need excitement , something fun and taking a look around most of the devotional guides - they aren't really that exciting and interesting. Until today , I have not seen a more better and interactive devotional guide for young boys aged 9-13yrs. Jeremny Jones has compiled together a 366 day Devotional Guide just for boys. Each day comes with a Your Page where you draw , write etc. For example on one of the Monday Pages , the theme of Your Page is Self-Control and it asks you to draw it - What do you think reader Self-Control looks like ? It has a small three paragraph Devotional , A Triple Dog Dare with three dares for the day e.g 1)What good deeds have you been ignoring ? Go and Do them now , 2)Look around your home and community , what good deeds can be done and make a list on how you can serve others and 3) Do one anonymous good deed each day this week and last but not least a place for you to write the results of your Triple Dog Dare titled Mission Accomplished - What did you do and What was your lesson learnt ?
