The original title of this book was 'The Man Who Shook the World". If you want to get excited about the Gospel of God and become intimately related to Paul. Read this book. It is an excellent 1st person account of Paul's life and travels for the Lord Jesus Christ and the Gospel of God.

Great Book... The books written by the Apostle Paul are illuminated by the insight that Pollock's scholarship offers. It gives a better understanding of the culture and cost Paul struggled with from his own calling to the spreading of the gospel to those that were not of "The Way". I recommend this book to any serious scholar of Paul's writings especially. While it is thorough it is plain enough for laypeople to grasp the cultural and historical significance of the first century Apostle that changed the world.

The absolute best book on Paul. This book is written as though you are with Paul on his journey and helping him write the epistles. You will know when he wrote them, why he wrote them and where he wrote them. You will also realize how much he was like you and me.
