I'll start by saying that my daughter loves this science because it is VERY hands ON! However, I've been a little frustrated with it because the kit doesn't include quite "everything" that you need. I've bought Science books in the past that have you running for long lists of items each week. I did not want that this year. I went ahead and spent the extra $$$ so that I could have the convenience of a complete package. The kit does contain many, many items needed. But I have had to add something to the shopping list each week as well. For example, colored tooth picks. . . there is a box of tooth picks in the kit but the experiment calls for colored tooth picks.... Finger nail polish remover. . . There are several little bottles of other chemicals in the kit but it assumes that you'll have finger nail polish remover on hand. . . etc. . . So, over all we like the science. But there are things you'll need to gather and buy along the way. FYI
