I would definitely recommend this product unless you are looking for braille. The braille on this is not raised but is flat. The hand signs are great though.

The description of these cards is deceptive. There is no Braille on the cards. There are black dots, but those are not helpful for a child who cannot see. The product suggests you take a blunt pencil and poke their black dots. Then the return policy does not allow me to return the cards because--technically--the ad is correct--the Braille "can be" raised. It was not already raised. So since the product description is technically correct, I cannot return for that reason. I also cannot return because the product is not "defective". So the last recourse I have is a threatening notice that if I return something merely because I don't like it, then I face a "significant restocking fee, at our discretion."
