Beauty for ashes.

Just 192 pages, yet there is a beautiful and mesmerizing anointing that flows through this book. Healing. Comforting. Powerful. Hearts are exposed so stunningly that tears sprung to my eyes, time and time again and toward the end of this book I was reminded of one thing: His will or mine?

And The Bride Wore White.

I borrowed it from the library but I definitely want it on my bookshelf. The message is gorgeous - one that I'm sure every woman would want to hear and Dannah truly has a passion to reach out to women. I will however confess that I didn't like the beginning. I felt like the author gave to many examples - and not enough Scripture- and that the message stayed on surface level (each chapter is around 3-4 pages long).

But toward the end... Dannah goes deep. Very deep. Into a place where secrets come out of the darkness as a passion for Truth and healing lights up in the heart of Christian women.

I came out of this speechless and dazed.

Wow.
