Don't waste your money on these horrible videos ... they are not biblical, they are scary for younger kids and down right boring for older.

I had ordered these for my son who is a down syndrome boy. It was a little too much for him to comprehend, as I thought it would be like a comic book. So I shared each DVD with the children at my
church and their parents were very satisfied with them.
I got 5 DVD's with 2 stories on each, so it was a great

My 6& 8 y.o. love this whole series. Gives them a visual of Bible stories. Also like that there are kids their ages discussing what happens. They can relate to this type of discussion.

I ordered all of the DVD's but have only had the pleasure of viewing one- Moses Receives the Ten Commandments/Moses' Great Escape. My niece and nephew are 7 and 5 respectively and my daughter who put the movie in for them did it hesitantly thinking the kids would show little interest in them. WOW! To my surprise they were captivated from beginning to end. Would definitely recommend it!!

We purchased all five of the videos in this set and my granddaughter who will be 4 in December just loves them. She asks to watch them over and over. We plan on taking them with us on our next trip with her so she can watch them in our vehicle as we drive.

I purchased this and the others in the series with the hope of them being viewed by our church's 5 to 10 year olds. However, upon reviewing some of them, I realized that some of the content was too mature, e.g., in the first Moses video - 10 Commandments - on this DVD, and in the Samson video, the sexual innuendos and implications were too strong for that age group. I am even hesitant to show these to my middle schoolers. I will be viewing the Noah and Joshua videos and hoping that these are a little more appropriate.

I will not show this video to young children. I thought the scenes of dead babies at the beginning and the Egyptian whipping the Hebrew slave were far too graphic. My aim is not to scare children, but to teach them about God's love and grace.

I FOUND THIS DVD TO BE VERY INFORMATIVE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS WHO ARE BECOMING INTERESTED IN GOD AND JESUS. I FIND THAT THEY ARE ALSO VERY GOOD TO TEACH SUNDAY SCHOOL TO PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN. WHEN THEY SEE THE CHARACTERS AND HEAR THE LISTEN TO WHAT IS BEING SAID THEY CAN RELATE BETTER TO WHAT IS BEING TAUGHT TO THEM. THANK YOU

This whole childrens series was a huge disappointment, and I would discourage anyone to purchase such an item. It wasnt so much the home video type feel that bothered me and the children, but the way woman in general were portrayed in this film. Many of them were shown in a very sexual manner, and were highly immodest in attire. I threw the whole series away and this web order was refunded back to me shipping an all, so there is definitely something to be said for CBD. I would order from them in a heartbeat, but do your research before buying a video that you think is going to be kid friendly.YIKES!

I think these are good. My 4 & 7 year old enjoyed them but they are best suited for families that already have a Bible basis to help the children obtain a deeper understanding of what they've already heard in the Bible Stories. I would not give them as a witnessing tool as the stories are cut short too early for someone that doesn't already know the story & a non-believer parent would likely not encourage the child to view more than the 1st story or be able to explain the full story if the child didn't understand the concept. To an unbeliever, it could make Christianity appear a bunch of rules leading to 'no fun' instead of a relationship with Christ & God thus you do as they say because they created you & know what will make you the happiest.

The technical quality of this DVD was okay. However, I didn't think it was very Biblically accurate because of too much imaginative filler. Therefore, I'm not interested in the rest of the series I purchased and may return it just as a matter of principle.
