Moody Publishers Cries from the Cross: A Journey Into the Heart of Jesus

The central doctrine of Christianity is that Jesus died to save sinners from eternal doom. Until we see ourselves as deserving of that fate, we will never understand the cross. Pastor Lutzer offers a fresh perspective on the last words of Christ. You'll see your own needs in the Savior's cry for pardon, assurance, compassion---and victory! 176 pages, softcover from Moody.

Very thought provoking and challenges the indivdual to a deeper, meaningful relationship with Jesus. it compels one to a deeper consciousness of the meaning of the cross, the depth of Jesus' sacrifice and love for us. I am more aware of the superficiality connection with the cross. I definitely recommend this book.

I first heard about "Cries From the Cross" from my daughter who lives in South Carolina. So naturally, I checked with CBD to see if you carried it. As I read each chapter I instantly thought "oh, I need to share this with the ladies in our weekly Bible study." I had never spent time studying our Lord's last words. It was good to stop and truly consider each word that he spoke. Hallelujah what a Saviour!
