I expected this collection to be more challenging, as the level of difficulty indicated is early advanced to advanced. I've played other arrangements of Carol Tornquist that are much more complex but are in collections marked as intermediate level. This book might be helpful for those times when you get a last minute notice to play for a service, as most of the arrangements can be sight-read. I would say that this book's playing level is early intermediate. If you'd really like to play challenging and rewarding worship pieces, investigate other collections by Carol, or try Mark Hayes' arrangements.

I just got hired as the church pianist, so having a good selection and good prices for piano books are very nice.
