Each Christmas I get a new devotional for my son; I bought this for when he was 8. Every night I have thought how much the message is for me just as much as it is for him. Easy to understand. Biblically sound. He loves it. And I am going to miss it this next year - hope to find another (almost) as good. Or may just have to read this one again! You won't be disappointed.

Quick I like themini stories to encourage and build your trust in God daily. I bought it for my 10 year old but I enjoy them just as much. I like the scripture reference and short prayer that goes with each day.

I purchased this for my 10-year-old daughter, and she really loves it. I have the original version of it, too, so we have fun comparing and sharing each day what we read.
