My brother, Army chaplain, A.R. Reid has already said what needs to be said about both Ron Nash and this wonderful book. Like my brother, Dr. Nash has been a huge influence on my thinking in the area of philosophy and worldviews. And, like my brother, I was sorry to hear that Ron Nash passed away. He will be missed, at least by the two of us.

Buy this book. It is a quick, easy read, but its message is so profound you will find yourself returning to it again and again. Also, it's a great compliment to Nash's Ultimate Questions, which expands on the concepts in Worldviews In Conflict. Ultimate Questions is also an easy read and I highly recommend it as an introduction to philosophy.

This is the first book I read by Ron Nashbut not the last! In it I discovered something quite improbable: I discovered a philosopher and a teacher who cared more about teaching me how to think than what to thinkand this was a pleasant surprise! As I have said in other reviews of Nashs books, his writings are meaty, yet a real joy to readI mean that. And as I said before, I was sorry to hear that he passed away earlier this year. The Church has lost one of its mighty men of valorbut he still speaks!

Many people have learned that the best way to do apologetics and to disciple young Christians is through the use of worldview thinking. This book is an outstanding introduction to worldview thinking in general and to the Christian worldview in particular.

This book is great. Ron Nash has the gift of being able to explain various philosophical topics with ease and clarity. His section on the problem of evil was the best part of the book in my taste. I was reading it while on the train with a big grin on my face, it was that good! If you like this one, check out his fuller version of this book,"Faith and Reason." That's another must have!
