Multnomah Books Dare to Drop the Pose: Ten Things Christians Think but Are Afraid to Say

Do you worry a lot? Feel inadequate or lonely? Even doubt God? You're not alone. Pastor Groeschel was once a poser in front of his congregation, too. Honestly revealing his own feelings, he shows how to stop pretending, drop the mask, and forge authentic relationships with God and others. Previously titled Confessions of a Pastor. 224 pages, softcover from Multnomah.

As I read this, I am touched by the author's candid confessions that he, too, has experienced what he is writing about as he has grown in faith. No 'talking down' to the reader. Not finished with the book yet, but I am glad to read something which addresses these issues.
