Random House, Inc The Lamb and the Fuhrer: Jesus Talks with Hitler

In this compelling dialogue, two men of contrasting values meet and address fundamental issues of life and death, speaking to issues such as the evil of violence with respect to human life. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the German pastor Hitler ordered hanged, joins the conversation and the heat intensifies when the three begin to weigh the value of relationships, love, and forgiveness. Don't miss this spectacularly imaginative discourse that will take you inside the mind of one of the most brutal tyrants of all time, and into the hands of the very God who made him.

The subject itself carries the reader past the awkward writing of the first quarter of this small book. For a Christian it raises questions about God's patience with and treatment of evil persons. The difficulties are handled with good insight.

I have recommended this book on several different occasions. It's an easy read that is quick to get through. So interesting that I felt as though I were a fly on the wall while Jesus and Hitler were talking. Made me remember that these three people in history actually walked on this earth.... I studied up on Bonhoeffer as well after reading the book.
