A great conclusion to the series this book was truly about hope. Gideon and Lonnie have finally found love, got married and had a son. Everything was good until a woman named Cassie from Gideon's past comes back and claims that she is his rightful wife. He has no choice but to part with his family. When Cassie finally gives him her blessing to return home, Gideon embarks on a journey back through the Blue Ridge Mountains which will hold a trial he never anticipated. When he returns, he finds her betrothed to another, Toby McKee–a young preacher she has come to care deeply for. Lonnie was convinced that Gideon was lost to her forever but as she has to moves on, Toby's proposal offeres her and her son a bright future. As she finds herself in a love triangle she must make a choice. Who will it be?

This was a great book that I just couldn't put down. I will look out for new books from this author. I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.

When I saw that My Hope is Found was up for review on the Multnomah website, I did not even hesitate to click on this novel or look at the other books up for review! Reason being is the second book in this series hit me in a way I never expected and was one of the best books I had read! So to say the least I was super excited about this novel and had extremely high exceptions, which I am also happy to say the author fulfilled!

"My Hope is Found" pick right up where Though My Heart is Torn ended and let me tell you that I had such a mix of emotions when starting this one! I was rooting for Gideon and rooting for Toby! I didn't know what I really wanted to happen because Gideon and Toby had claimed a part of my heart! I was so unsure of who I wanted to be with Lonnie and I felt that my heart was as confused and hurt as hers!

However with that I have to say I really did come to love Gideon a lot more in this novel! Out of any fictional book I have read, I have never seen a character development as much as his! I felt his pain, his joy, and everything involving his past to come affect his future. He was a man who wanted to know God more, but felt that he couldn't really know Him with everything he had done in the past. There were times though that he made me so mad and others times my heart cried out for his pain because I could relate in the past coming back to haunt you as they say.

Now sweet Toby was a different story. I have to mention that I really came to love Toby even more then Gideon through the progress of this book! He is such a sweet and loving man who I know captured pieces of Lonnie's heart, but he captured mine too! Despite him being a reverend, the reader can see he is no different then any other man with jealousy, anger, selfishness, and all the other emotions/feelings that "regular" people have! I so appreciated that the author made him real and not this preacher who thought he was better than anyone else (including Gideon)!

There is so much more I could say about how beautiful this story was, but I don't want to spoil or ruin the story! However, I do have to say that there are very few novels who can weave a beautiful story of how sweet grace is! As selfish humans we don't deserve God's grace, but I felt their was a parallel between Lonnie and Gideon's relationship to our relationship with God because the reader can see how strong God's love, forgiveness, and grace really is. God's not going to run away due to our past mistakes, but embrace us with a forgiveness and a promise to be by our side in the coming future.

Again, this is such a beautiful story that really is not for the light of heart! I don't recommend it if you are looking for a story that has a light and fluffy romance because this novel is so much more then that! It's about about growth, healing, forgiveness, love, and sacrifice. I completely recommend to anyone who is need of a story that clearly shows how strong God's love and forgiveness is for us and that no matter how many times we may fall, God will always be there to pick us up again. I will be looking forward to more books by this author writes because her novels is something you don't want to miss out on in the book world!

I received this novel for free from Water Brook Multnomah in exchange for an honest review! (Thank you so much for allowing me to read it because it was beautiful!)

Where do I even begin? Lonnie is such a strong woman. Who could endure all that she's had to endure and still keep their faith and their hope in the Lord? I certainly had a hard time doing that. Lonnie's struggles are believable and real. We get to know Toby's character better. He is exceptionally down to earth and "real" for a preacher. He is kind-hearted and flawed. He loves Lonnie, but he continues to pray for God's will instead of giving in to his selfish desires. Gideon, oh Gideon! There are times I would like to grab him by the shoulders and shake him! Everything he wants is right in front of him! All he has to do is reach out and take what God is giving him. I like that the author didn't do just that. His internal struggle to accept all that God offers is commendable and very, very real.

This story is so authentic. I don't believe I've read any book that comes close to it. Joanne Bischof is masterful at pulling your emotions in every direction and keeping you entrenched in the story. The depth of emotions these characters go through is poignant and real. Lonnie, Gideon, and Toby go through so much and their characters are developed extremely well. The story is bittersweet. It kept me guessing at the ending until I reached it. I had hopes, but I was uncertain as to how it would end. I'm very satisfied with how it ends.

Overall, the story is a very satisfying conclusion to the Cadence of Grace series. Lessons learned in the book are different for each character, but clear. Be patient. Wait on the Lord. He will make all things right in your life, if you allow Him to. Keep your head up and keep going. The Lord will be there with you every step of the way. I loved this book!

My Hope Is Found by Joanne Bischof is the 3'rd book in The Cadence of Grace series.

I have loved each of the books in this series and could hardly wait for each book to be released. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to get an advance reading copy for review for the last book in the series.

Lonnie and Gideon's relationship has been rocky to say the least. When it finally seemed as if they had found love and happiness together a women from Gideon's past comes forward and tears apart everything that Lonnie and Gideon had built together. Cassie is Gideon's legal wife so he has no choice but to stay with her. Lonnie is determined to move forward and adjust to life without Gideon. It is easier said then done, but when the handsome Scottish minister comes calling, it's not long before Lonnie begins to have hope for a better future.

In the meantime, Cassie decides to let Gideon go back to Lonnie for she know's that he will never love her like he love's Lonnie. They decide to get an annulment and Gideon heads back to Lonnie.

Right when Lonnie was beginning to accept her life without Gideon, he shows up again and now she must make a choice...a choice between Toby and Gideon. Who will she choose?

I love the character of Lonnie but I must admit I am not a fan of Gideon. Although he has changed a lot through this series he just seems so selfish and hot tempered. I was glad to see redemption and forgiveness written into the story, but I was not real happy with the turn out. Even with that said, I love the way Joanne Bischof writes and once again I found it hard to put the book down. All in all it was a great series that I would recommend!

A great conclusion to a great series

Gideon O'Riley gets the go home free card from Cassie but he makes a stop at the courthouse in Stuart, Virginia to make sure the annulment will go through without any problems. When he manages to see the judge, he is insistent that he needs to talk to Cassie in person and Gideon should go on and he will be in touch with him as soon as things are finalized.

Lonnie has finally started to move on with her life and finds herself falling in love with Toby McKee, a young reverend that is finding himself falling in love with Lonnie. She fights her feelings as long as she can and when Toby finally proposes to her she accepts. After all the happy tears everyone at the Bennett house sits down to eat as there is a knock on the door. Lonnie opens the door to see Gideon standing there.

As Gideon, Lonnie and Toby try to get along while waiting to hear from the judge, things get tense. The night the letter arrives it doesn't bring good news, but it isn't hopeless either. Gideon is so on edge that he and Toby get into a fist fight. Jebediah forces the two men to work together and neither one is allowed in the house any longer. The tension continues but they do learn to work together. Lonnie has the hardest time trying to decide which man she loves the most. Gideon can see that she loves Toby and Toby can see that she loves Gideon, one will have to give in and leave or they will have to continue going on the way things are until Lonnie can make a decision.

Joanne did a great job on this series and this last book had my eyes watering sometimes. I didn't know what was going to happen, for sure until the very end, I kept going back and forth between the two men. She did a good job of keeping a secret. I also appreciated the faith she included in the book, it isn't easy to always keep your faith strong or change from a life without faith and be willing to give up someone you love if that is what you feel God wants you to do because that is what is best for that person.
