From a classical historian comes a reasoned analysis of the millennium. Wright argues that to celebrate the forthcoming millennium with integrity does not mean preparing for the world's end; instead, we must challenge our prevailing cultural story and symbols. He contends that millennium hype is a mask for "postmodernity," and constructs a practical response. 111 pages, softcover from Westminster/John Knox.

Not the book I expected
Date:February 23, 2011
I was expecting to get NT Wright's view of "end times" events, but ended up with a critique of modernism & post-modernism. Overall, it was still a good book and I would recommend this book if you're looking for a way to answer secularists & skeptics.
